FAQ

Welcome to Our FAQ Page!

We know you might have some questions, and we’re here to help! Below, you’ll find answers to the most common queries about our personalized cartoon portraits. If you don’t see the information you’re looking for, feel free to reach out to us directly. We're always happy to assist!

  1. The photo you upload

The photo you send must be in high resolution, faces clearly visible and lit. The quality of the photo you send has a direct impact on the quality and details of the portrait. In the case of low-quality photos, personalizing people may be difficult. If you send several photos, I will choose the one that will be best for the job.

  1. What's in the photo matters

If you send a photo in which, for example, you are standing and in the background you can see the beach and the ocean - this is the result you will get in the portrait. I do not change the position of the character or draw a custom background without your express request. If you want to change the position of the character or change the background of the photo - let me know before placing the order. In individual cases, this option will be charged additionally.

  1. Order processing time

In standard cases, I will accept your order and write you a message within 6-8 hours of placing the order (during my opening hours listed below). After determining the details, you will receive the first preview of the portrait within 1-2 business days. However, in the case of all kinds of seasons, such as Christmas, Easter, Valentine's Day, Children's/Mother's Day, etc., the number of orders increases significantly and I reserve the right to send you the first version of the portrait within 5 business days. It is possible to purchase express shipping - then, regardless of the circumstances, you will receive the first preview within 6 hours and 24 hours during seasons (this time may be extended in the case of complex portraits and will be determined individually).

  1. Days and hours of my availability

I work from Monday to Friday: 9-17 EST (UTC-5), 16-24 CET (UTC+1). Outside of business hours and on the weekend, I cannot promise that I will accept your order or respond to your message (even during our cooperation on corrections after the preview has been sent).

  1. Special situations on my part

My priority is your happiness and satisfaction with my work, so I will do everything to ensure that you receive your order as quickly as possible, but in some cases the waiting time for the portrait may be longer than the one I declared to you. Special situations in private life, illnesses, software failures and other unplanned situations may extend the waiting time. Please be patient, even if I don't show any sign of life.

  1. The resemblance of cartoon characters to real people

I do everything in my power to make the characters I draw as similar as possible to the real people in the photo. However, due to the specific appearance of cartoon characters (big eyes, large nose, wider face), some features of the character's appearance may disappear. In such a situation, I have no control over it and you must accept it.

  1. Revisions and requests

As a rule, I offer a few number of revisions, but this only applies to corrections to the portrait, Any "larger changes" such as changing the color of the entire outfit, changing the background, adding or removing larger elements in the portrait (which were not agreed upon before starting to draw the portrait) will be charged additionally. The exception is if you want to change or correct something as a result of my unconscious mistake.

  1. What if you don't talk to me?

Sometimes my clients place an order, I send them a preview and... They remain silent. If you do not accept the first version of the portrait within 24 hours of sending the preview, I will automatically consider it as acceptance of the portrait for shipment. The exception to this rule is the weekend - let's rest ;)

  1. Corrections/changes after sending the HD version of the portrait to e-mail

If, after accepting the preview and sending the digital HD portrait to your email address, you want to make any corrections, you will need to order the portrait again. The exception are my mistakes, which you will notice in the HD version of the portrait.

  1. Copyright and third parties

You provide me with a photo based on which I will create a portrait for you, so I assume that you have all the rights to use this photo, edit it and work to create a portrait. Therefore, if your photo contains registered trademarks (e.g. in the background, outfit, etc.) and/or third parties, they may be included in the portrait.

  1. Using portraits for commercial purposes

My art is only for private, not commercial purposes. You may not use this portrait for profit, you may not resell it, copy it or edit it. You can print it, hang it on the wall at home or work, but you cannot make money from it. If you need my art for commercial purposes (logo/work/your services) - let me know in advance.

  1. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHIPPING DETAILS COMPLETED

The Ordering Party declares that the address details provided in the system for shipping physical products are correct, and the email address provided in the etsy account is correct and has access to it in order to properly receive the order of the digital product.

  1. By ordering this product you accept the following regulations:

I do not transfer the copyright of my products and portraits to the client. You may not use it for profit, copy it, edit it or resell it. I agree to sharing the product/photo on social media. By sending me your photos to make a personalized product, you accept the possibility of using your photo to present the "before/after" effect in my store. If you do not agree to this, please let me know when placing the order. Respecting privacy - photos of people have their eyes blurred.
